Access
Our office is unit 17.
We have access to the office weekdays between 8am and 11pm. Between 9am to 5pm the main entrance on market square can be used. Outside of these times you need to use the Peas Hill or South-West entrance (see map below) to enter or exit.
You need an access card to access our office and Guildhall. If you don't have one please pick one up from reception.
All guests need to sign in at reception.
There is no smoking or vaping allowed on site.

Our office
We have 6 desks, one of which is a standing desk.
They are all set up with one monitor and the Thunderbolt docks (which
also provide power if you have a Thunderbolt 3 port). If we have over 6
there is a co-working space we can use if needed.
Mice/keyboards are in the cabinet. If you need a drawer to store things in, please let Simon know and we can assign you one.
Internet works on laptops connected to docks (via ethernet) or WiFi (search for "Guildhall WiFi" in 1Password). You can also use the "Allia-Public" WiFi but this is not on our network (sonot on our VPN).

Booking meeting rooms
4 meeting rooms are available at Guildhall. We get 2 hours free a month and 20% off any further fees. To book a meeting room either ask at reception or email at guildhall@futurebusinesscentre.co.uk
- Meeting room 1: 10 people (12 if 2 people sit on each end)
- Meeting room 2: 8 people (10 if 2 people sit on each end)
- Meeting room 3: 8 people
- Meeting room 4: 3 people

If you want a private space to make a call you can use an available meeting room. Just ask at reception.
Post
We can accept normal post at the office, which needs to be collected at reception. We recommend you do not have large packages delivered to the office, is this is necessary please pass your contact details to the courier and ensure you are on-site to ensure delivery.
We have a letter tray in the office, please leave any company letters here for collection by Julie.
Travelling to the office
We do not have parking at the office and we encourage people to use public transport or cycle into the office. There are bike racks outside the office. Buses stop in Cambridge within a 5-minute walk.
We do have a budget for car parking for those that have a genuine need to park (for example, you're travelling in from far away). Please claim back costs on expenses. This is currently open to all, but we will review usage. It is not intended to cover daily parking or mileage travelling to work.
Please note if you plan to park in central Cambridge we recommend travelling in after 10am and leaving before 4pm to avoid rush hour.
Grand Arcade parking (5 min walk to Guildhall). Weekday, over 5hrs = £26.40 between 10am-7pm, £29.40 outside these hours.
Queen Anne Terrace car park (15 min walk to Guildhall). Weekday, over 5hrs = £14 between 10am-7pm, £17.50 outside these hours.
Park & Ride travel times to central Cambridge:
- Babraham Rd, 21 mins
- Madingly Rd, 12 mins
- Milton, 16 mins
- Newmarket Rd, 17 mins
- Trumpington, 15 mins
There is also street parking, West Road is fairly near (15 min walk). Use JustPark for street parking.
Taxi
If you need to order a taxi for a client, or to travel within Cambridge for a meeting, then you can use the company account we have with Panther Taxis. Please note, this is strictly for business use only. See our intranet for account and booking details.
Recycling
We recycle paper, cardboard, tins & cans, cartons, glass, small cardboard boxes. We cannot recycle bags and food waste. If you have any large boxes, please break them up first.
There are two bins for recycling in the shared kitchen.
