General rules

The following general rules apply within Studio 24 and if you are in breach of any of them disciplinary action may be taken against you.

• It is only acceptable to consume alcohol while at work on special occasions and when entertaining clients. However, this should not interfere with your ability to work. We do not allow staff to drink excessively or work under the influence of alcohol, such use may be subject to disciplinary action.
• The consumption of drugs on Studio 24’s premises or while at work is not permitted. If you are considered to be under the influence of drugs, you will be suspended from work and will be subject to disciplinary action.
• Misuse of Studio 24’s computer and email systems will be dealt with as a disciplinary matter. Studio 24 reserves the right to monitor internet traffic to ensure that the system is not being abused especially where concerns arise, that improper messages are being sent to or received from other employees or third parties.
• We expect you to be responsible in what you view and download from the internet. Software you install on your computer must be licensed and you should request permission from the Support Team before installing new software.
  
• You must not use any removable storage media supplied by a third party on the computer system without it first being virus checked.
• Misuse of Studio 24’s internet facility will be dealt with as a disciplinary matter. This includes accessing or downloading inappropriate material such as pornographic or other material that could cause offence.
